Survival course

Completing a survival course, which contains rope-related obstacles. The survival course consists of several obstacles.
- There are differences per category on both execution and requirements.
General execution:
The obstacles must be overcome in accordance with the instructions given in the description of the components and any instructions from supervisory personnel. The performances can be seen on a video.
The survival course consists of the following parts:
- Catcrawl/monkey sling
- Load carry
- Belly busters
- Swing over
- Indian Bridge
It is a duo performance. This means that teammates can help each other, but that in the end each individual member must have completed the entire course.
Please note: the team must, in the opinion of the supervisory staff, make a serious attempt to complete the course. If no serious attempt has been made in the opinion of the supervisory staff, the team will be disqualified. After 7'30" minutes, the organization may abandon the attempt.
Execution per obstacle:
Catcrawl/monkey sling
- The team members walk up the chains, lie down/hang on the rope and move until their feet have passed the orange pawn. There the participant can get off the rope.
- You can help each other.
- If the feet touch the ground before the participant has passed the orange pawn, the participant must take the obstacle again.
Load carry
- Run the marked route together with hexagonal plate (category S), or heavy car tire (category V, M, D and VD).
Belly busters
- Go over the beams; You can help each other.
Swing over
- Go over the beam using the rope; You can help each other.
Indian Bridge
- Walk over the ropes to the other side.
Requirements:
Requirement for category S: covering the entire track within 4 minutes 30 seconds.
- With a time score between 4'30" and 5'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 1 km.
- With a time score between 5'30" and 6'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 2 km.
- With a time score above 6'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 3 km.
Requirement for category V, D, M, and VD: covering the entire course within 5 minutes for 30 seconds
- With a time score between 5'30" and 6'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 1 km.
- With a time score between 6'30" and 7'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 2 km.
- With a time score above 7'30", the team has to complete a penalty loop of 3 km.
